Common questions
Do my friends need the app?
No. Invitees get a text with a personal link and answer in their browser. Only the organizer uses the app.
How do I stop receiving texts?
Reply STOP to any message from ForeSome and you'll immediately stop receiving them. Reply HELP for info.
What if two people say yes at the same time?
Spots are claimed atomically — the first tap wins and the second person is instantly offered the waitlist. No double-booking.
Someone dropped out. Now what?
The spot reopens automatically and the first person on the waitlist gets a text with a limited window to claim it. If they pass, it rolls to the next person.
Can I invite more people than I have spots?
Yes — that's the point. Invite six for two spots and first come, first served sorts it out.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account and all of its data from inside the app:
- Open ForeSome → tap the gear icon (top right) → Delete account.
- This permanently removes your profile, your rounds, and your crew. Anyone confirmed for an upcoming round is told it's canceled.
If you can't access the app, email foresomegolf@justinnikolaus.com from the phone number on your account and we'll delete it for you.
